Hey guys I have another question. I have a Sandfire Red male that I wanted to breed to my normal female that has one of the reddest beards I have ever seen. When my male sees the female he goes nuts. He bobs his head like crazy and his beard turns pitch black. All the normal breeding signs. Then my female bobs and waves the arm. The male then mounts her and they have done this over and over...they both seem into it and everything. My question is why is my female not pregnant. since the first tme they were put together it has been 2 months but could possibly not have mated until 1 month ago. What could be going on? There temps and diet is fine.

if they have connected properly....all you have to do is wait. females can store sperm for a very long time. she needs to make the eggs so they can be fertilized.
