Go to finegtps.com and read through the caging building pages.

Since you are over 48" long and most tracks come in 48" lengths you may decide to frame in the front somehow.

Hey Chris,

At Outwater.com (got the link from one of your other posts) they sell the track in 12' lengths, or even longer if they take it off a bulk roll. Not sure how easily or if it can be shipped, I think they said it could only be shipped in 8' or less lengths, and mine will all be 4' sections. They do have a $25 minimum order size, but you'll have plenty left over for future projects. (I had to get 36 feet of track at current price of .58 a foot to meet the minimum).

That's right, outwater does sell odd sized lengths. A good choice unless someone absolutely only needs 4'. But I think you could always get rid of it to other keepers.

I searched Richmond VA top to bottom and came up with nothing, well other than $250 a cage for ball bearing industrial slides. I would rather find it local and have it now, but I guess I'll have to wait till the weekend (hopefully get it by then). The minimum order of the 1/4 inch track is 36 feet. Get a bunch of your buddies to go in with ya and your set. Either that or plan on building more and have leftovers. I'll have 16' spoken for right away, and 3 more cages to build in the future so that will knock off another 12, and throwing in a few feet for OOPS I'll do allright.

Thanks again Chris for all the info on the boards!
