I just thought I would give Celia a break from showing her Aztec. This is a little 05' girl. Thanks for looking. Bob Potts

Now correct me if I am wrong, This morphs is pretty new right? and its a CO-Dominant trait, meaning like the hypo trait what ever you breed that female too roughly half the offspring will be Aztecs? I can't wait till all the "Mixing" goes on, the possiblities are endless...

Albino Aztecs
Hypo Aztecs
Anery Aztecs...heard that ones going pretty soon...Below
Motley Aztecs
Arabsque Aztecs
Ghost Aztecs
Sunglow Aztecs

Ohhh who knows how many other combos...HOW EXCITING...Of course the person who actually does those breeding will probably give them thier own unique name...Thanks for sharing the pic, Got my Morph Juices all going....LOL

Glad everyone likes her. You are correct, when you breed an Aztec to a normal female half the babies will be Aztec(on average). Thanks Bob

Who produced the first AZTEC? Also how does this mutation work? Any BACKGROUND info would be deeply appreciated about that stunning animal!

ChrisGilbert Jan 04, 2006 08:34 PM

produced the first Aztec, along with his brother Andrew.

The only one to leave their collection was Celia's (LUCKY!).

I spoke breifly with you at Daytona (I don't think I introduced myself). Needless to say, I love them.

I want to get my hands on one, and a T-Positive Albino Colombian. I think that pairing would be killer!

Keep up the good work.

Are they dominant or co-dominant (ie, any Super?).

Thanks,
Chris

No Supers yet.................! But here's another Aztec picture.
Thanks Bob

Bob, I saw all of your baby aztecs in Daytona and they are awesome. Where did you get the very first one?

I was talking to Celia about this and she filled me in.

The original Aztec was a Colombian male that Bob (or his brother had). He was bred to multiple females, and started the Aztec line there is today. I don't remember EXACT details so I won't go farther.

Roughly 4 years ago a teacher brought a boa into my shop that she had kept in her class room as a pet. I purchased the animal and proved it the following breeding season.

ChrisGilbert Jan 05, 2006 07:24 PM

didn't show up on my computer. The other one isn't now either. I don't know why.

Anyway, there is still a chance for a Super?!

I guess we can always be hope for the Luecistic? But I expect that whatever the Homozygous form is (if different) it will be amaizing.

The Purple Patternless were definately unexpected for the Motleys, so you never know.
