Mine loves his bugs...crickets....mealworms...superworms...I give him mostly crickets. He also LOVES those canned silk worms. I keep them on hand for an emergency cause I live so far from the pet store. He does not like his greens, but I hand feed him some. He'll eat just about any green as long as I hand feed. I've tried chopping. Somebody today told me to try garlic scent on them or banana scent. I thought it was worth a try....??? I've also tried mixing the worms in the greens.

This guy at a petstore told me today that when I feed a superworm to a beardie, I should cut the head off first. I can't. I just can't. sigh Does anybody else do this?

I have a friend that had a lizard he fed meal worms too. The meal worms ate the lizard from the inside out, thereby causing his demise. A tragic story, But I think it is a rare occurence.

they cant eat the dragon from the inside out, thats a rumor. Most likely it died of impaction or other cause, then the owner saw the mealworms chewing on it and jumped to conclusions.

I also heard that worms can eat the dragon from inside out. Just to be safe I wouldnt feed worms or just cut there head off.

"urban legend". It is simply not true. The superworm is chewed and then exposed to stomach acids.

it is a fallacy that supers can eat through the stomach of a lizard. No one is out there in the outback cutting off the head of beetle larvae
