thanks in advance

Big questions with lots of differing answers. Here's what works well for us & we'll be the first to admit we don't have advice, just our learner's input. We offer all our guys seed bowls 24/7. The mix consists of cracked legumes (15 bean), bearded dragon food, buckwheat groats, bulgar wheat, barley, oat groats, Pretty Bird finch food, bee pollen, a few sunflower seeds, etc. Loraine tosses in a couple other items but, offhand, I forget what they are. Every other day we provide them with all the greens & flowers recommended on any care sheet plus a rare treat of apple, berries, etc. Insects, well, we seem to do fine without them though sometimes offered. Not a hot ticket on the menu list.
Now,addressing the question you ask... All we use anymore is Jurassivite &/or Uromastyx Dust sprinkled on their "every other day" greens. I'm not endorsing either product & I'm certain someone will rip me up for my lack of quantitative conciseness. I sprinkle it on & hope for the best but, all I can say is that we have happy & very thriving Uros & they lay eggs.
