Does everybody gut load there mealies, I buy a container of 100. Should I throw some carrets with them, i hate to get another container for them. Should i keep them in the frig, can they eat when there in the frig.

Sorry for so many question, my leo has been eating criks but i can't stand keeping them so i bought mealies and he seems to be eating them hand feed to him. So i need to know how to care for the mealies.

thanks for all the help

Yes, they really should be kept in a good quality bedding for gut loading. Probably the best bedding around is available through Cricketfood.com, another good one is from Progeckos.com.

You can store them in the refrigerator but, no they don't really eat while refrigerated. So, you do need to take them out for at least 24 hours prior to feeding them to your Leo. This way they have some time to eat which will make them more nutritional for your Leo. The carrots are a good idea for them, it provides them with a moisture source.
