I took these the other day. She was acting very defensive. But in the first pic she was acting dead. Or at least thats what it seemed like. Anyways it was interesting so i snapped a few crappy pics before she moved. By the way she is in full shed in these pics.

my female juvi does that when I mist her with water. she makes herself completely flat and arches her back then the eyes roll back in the head. I never understood exactly what she is doing, but everytime I go to spray her she "assumes the position" lol

the reason they do that when you mist them is to get the most amount of water on their bodies. It hardly rains where they are from so water is cherished. They will tilt there heards down and raise their bodies to channel the water to their mouths. Its a very cool thing to watch. They also flatten out to look bigger and more intimidating to a potential threat.

yea that is the stance.. its funny to watch because almost a hole forms in the center of her belly because she is trying to hard to make herself flat. It reminds me of a dog trying to poop or something.. she just gets that face going LOLOL.
