All of a sudden, my daughter's Corn doesn't run and hide when we get close to her tank. In fact, my daughter said she came out and was curious when my daughter approached.
Yesterday (with the light on during the day) she was sprawled across her branch basking in the "sun" of the heat lamp.
It's really cool to see that. She's always accommodated handling well, but hid under her hides all the time. If only my Milk Snake would come out from under the newspaper...EVER !!
My son's King Snake (all 3 snakes mentioned are same age - '05s) has always been out and about in her habitat. She's not shy at all. She's not shy about looking for a way out even with your face right there.
