This one just sat there and let us pick it up. All three snakes were caught in CA.

#1 is a Lyre Snake (Trimorphodon biscutatus)
#2 is a Patchnosed Snake (Salvadora hexalepis)
#3 is a California Racer (Masticophis lateralis)

The Lyre snake, the first one, is a rear-fanged animal. Be careful with it. And, if he finds any more...please please please send one my way.
