Does anybody's ball bask for a whole day under the basking spot in the hidebox? After a meal of fuzzy, my baby ball, the next day, stay on the hot basking side for the whole day. It's actually rather fascinating.

mine actually does the opposite !!! he's always in the cool spot !
My sons BP spends most of the day on the cool side and basks quite often in the early evening, sometimes as late as 8 pm just before the light goes out for the night. But then again since we are not home during the week he could be sneaking out when there are no Big strange looking things looking in at him.
My 1 year old BP usually stays on the cool side, but after eating will stay in the basking area for about 6-8 hours. Although I just recently got a baby ball and just fed her for the first time today and she has been in the basking area since.
Yep, mine is doing that as well. Before I fed him/her, it would stay in the hidebox on the cool end. But since after I fed it, it would stay on the basking spot for the whole day every day now. It started 3 days ago and it's still doing it. I guess they do need higher temperature after a meal. I keep the temperature at the basking spot around 90 degree.
