Any ideas on how traits carry over in a breeding?

biscuit71 Jan 06, 2006 11:48 PM

I got this girl today.. she is a pretty nice looking normal, and i plan to breed her to my Pastel.. She has some great flames on her sides. His other girlfriend has some flames but has nice blushing.. Hopefully both will have nice traits to contribute... any thoughts how the mothers traits will carry over to possible offspring in a pastel x normal breeding?

Sorry for the wasned out look to some of the pics... the Flash is so bring sometimes.. i have to play with toning it down some

While most "morphs" are simple reccesive or codom or dominant, appearances such as shading, blushing, and flames are much more difficult to predict. Think of it as a codominant trait, just instead of there being 2 alleles for the trait there are 20.
