Can I get some feedback here? Do your Uros, in general, sleep more on the "hot" or "cool" side of their enclosures at night, lights & temps turned off & assuming equal sleeping opportunities at both ends?
Dan.

Hey Dan,
The Saharans are always sleeping on the hot end of the enclosure, not only do they always sleep there, but they actually very rarely even use any other hides that are provided! Oh, and you know how they are, inseparable! When one goes the other goes. It’s the same with the Malis too, although, one is still new and I haven’t quite gotten his “usual behavior” down yet.

So far I have a bit of both, with probably a preference for the warm side. I haven't had the critters long enough for a definitive answer, and haven't experimented enough either, but I've wondered about that too.

Some of mine sleep on the hot side, some on the cold, some on both.
