A couple of questions about ackies...

LNell Jul 24, 2003 07:11 PM

First of all, I heard that weis reptiles is a good place for them. I cannot reach their website. Are they out of business? If so, where is a good place to buy good-quality ackies?
Also, what kind of substrate is best? I hear 50/50 sand and soil; I hear 50/25/25 Soil, sand, and vermiculite.

i don't think there is a concrete rule or formula as far as substrate goes. we have ours on mostly dirt with some sand mixed in, just make sure it is something they can dig in.
