beardy cage so far

TonyZ Jan 07, 2006 01:32 AM

its going pretty slow, my wife keeps changing my mind on me first plan i had was 4 ft long but that was gonna be to short so i started building it 6 ft long 2 ft deep and 3 ft tall but she felt this was to big and looked to much like a cage so i will section it off and make the cage 4 ft long 2 ft deep and just over 2 ft tall with a cabinet on both sides, they will only be a foot wide but i think it will look pretty good

Just caulk the gap with white caulk, that's the "goofed" part right? (the dark gap on the left of the picture?)

i was planning on sealing the edges with aquarium silicon, is the white calk safe (non toxic) Thorn tends to potty in the same spot every time how well will it hold up to constant exposure to moisture

I used white kitchen and bath caulk in the cracks on all my cages. I used on miscut spots, too. It is very cleanable and waterproof. They use it around tubs. I let them air out for 2 weeks, so the smell disipated. I have had my snakes in them since last year, and they're all fine. Derek
