adult chameleon diet

I was wondering what is the ideal feeding schedule for and adult female veiled chameleon. As of now i feed her every day but was unaware if this is necessary.

There seems to be a general consensus that overfeeding a female may lead to her frequently producing large clutches of infertile eggs (are you planning to mate her? You are aware that they can develop infertile eggs?). I cannot give you an exact number as each would be different, but I know that some keepers feed them every other day and even some every few days. Test her a bit. Hold food for a day and then offer her a few crickets (or whatever) and see if she seems "starving" you may want to give her a few more or if she is not very interested maybe skip another day.

Supplementation is important. Make sure your feeders are well gutloaded and dust once a moth with vitamin and once a week with Ca/D3

hope this is helpful
