the stated 4 months gestation is taken between the mating anfd the actual birth of the offspring right? ie. it includes the various ovulation and sheds stages?

The 120 day count is taken from the last noticed ovulation (sometimes there will be 2 seperate ovulations), thru to the birth date. There's a 105 day count in case you missed the ovulation, that goes from the shed right after ovulation to the birth date. I make sure to write down every swelling noticed as well as shed cycle during thid time. Take care, David
