Vet Appointment,

WillHayward Jan 07, 2006 10:00 AM

Well in about 25 minutes I'll be off to the Vet's Office to find out what my first females problem is. I had it scheduled to figure out what the eye problem is that began to show about 3 weeks ago. At first it was assumed to be a bruise, and the following week after I posted photos, others agreed it looked like a bruise. However to my knowlege, bruises either heal fairly quick, or get a lot worse.

So here is two photos, the first, one week ago, the second was taken last night.

The eye is fully functional. its vision is fine, and she always hits her mark when shooting. Eats great. Active, all systems normal.

We will all be interested in what the vet says. Interesting that it does not seem to bother her -maybe it is just some quirky "birthmark." Keep us posted

her color is so pretty!

Indeed. It went exactly as I thought it would. The vet tells me she desn't know what it is, and I pay $50. She really didn't like that mean vet, her colours changed and her eyes immediately sunk in as soon as the vet started to handle her. Shes alright with me, but very agressive with anyone else.

Anyways, everything is fine, and her scheduled January 31st breeding will still happen, providing worse signs do not happen. I'm going to up her Vitamin intake and hope for the best.

I keep blowing fuses because my house is relatively old and isn't rated for such power needed to run the lights and heaters. Unfortunately, its snowing outside and the room sinks to 60 degrees, so I am trying my best to keep ambients upwards of the 70s.

My two bearded dragons managed to escape on Wednesday, I have found one, but the other is now probably dead, unfortunately I sleep in this same room. (Its massive though)
