This is Panglao Island Resort located in Bohol Philippines, its an awesome place to find geckos and banded Sea Kraits. There are no pictures of Sea Kraits in this post because I used an underwater disposable camera for pictures and they haven’t been developed yet.

Cane Toads (Bufo marinus) were common here, this large beast was located on the path to my hotel room.

Tokay Geckos (Gekko Gecko) were common here too

It was fun to finally being able to catch a few of these feisty dudes in the wild. The locals call them “Blood Suckers” believing that when they bite you they will not let go until they have sucked out your blood. Also, some locals think they are venomous. I proved that to be false when I allowed one to bite me… Ouch!

Some happy kids that wanted their pictures taken

Jungle of Central Bohol, pictured here are the popular Chocolate Hill one Philippines only tourist attraction.

Philippine Tarsier (Tarsius syrichta)
Flat-tailed House Geckos and Common House Geckos were common here too.
