if you own a pinkskin snapper

you ought to checkout sighthunter's post on the indigo forum dec.31- can diet influince skin color.

yes it certainly can just look for example how pink flamingos get there pink coat.... it is from eating only a diet of shimp. and that is a proven fact... so one can conclude if a snapper or something else ate only a diet of shrimp would it then have a pink tink to its skin?

carotene rich diets will bring out the pink and yellow colors in hypo or pinkskin snappers giving them even more intense colors. i heard it works better on yellow than red according to the post in the indigo forum. i really dont know what it would do to a normal colored snapper, i guess it should give their skin a pinkish tint. farm raised salmon are fed a diet to turn their meat pink but i cant get my turtles to eat it yet.
