You might need to take a shallow tub with a lid and place a small amount of water on the bottom with a wet towel in there. Put the snake in there and leave it overnight. Make sure there's holes in there and the water isn't too deep. Or you can soak again, take a wet towel and let them work their way thru it. Depends on how much shed is left. Take another look at your husbandry and make sure there is enough humidity. Babies need more constant humidity than adults especially at shedding time. Is there something rough for it to shed on? Lots of times the perches are so smooth that they have to really work to get the shed off. Do you have a guage that tells you the humidity in the cage?
