How does it work in Fl...

with regards to venomous keeping, is it a city by city situation? Are some cities nonfavorable to hot keeping? I know you need a FL VRL, Im wondering about city ordinances. The Keys and Homestead spring to mind.

Brett: Since I know one gent in the Upper Keys who legally keeps a few hots, I would say there's no problem there, & I would be surprised if there were any local ordinances in Homestead. True enough, any city or municipality can have a law that negates state law, but they better have it written properly. The state doesn't like being stepped on.

Thanks Greg, I was just curious to see if those areas had any restrictions. Here in CA the city decides, in SF one cannot even own a boid apparently, maybe its "constrictor" cant remember. Luckily my area "knows" me and calls on me for training or reference, so I can keep what is deemed legal by the state. South Florida definitely looks more appealing though...
