I can not tell what your actual question is but here goes something. The female will go into a shed cycle before she lays eggs. You can put a sock on your hand and let her slide through the sock. You should be able to count the eggs while in her. Be gentle just let her slide through your hand with a little pressure. I check the female after every shed to see if it is time for the nest box. Once I feel eggs I put the females in a rubbermaid style cage with coconut husk moistened substrate. Coconut holds moisture and does not draw flies. I put a SMALL deep waterbowl in with her if the waterbowl is large she may lay her eggs in it. You can put some heat tape under the cage at one end so che can choose the temprature she likes. Have a peek hole to look in on her. Once she lays the eggs mark the top without disturbing them in whatever position they are. Snake eggs should never be turned over. Re post for incubation when the time comes.

All those info are really appreciated. Yellowtail eggs soon, followed by indigo in a while, and i'm now trying to setup my v.salvadorii for breeding at this moment. If everything is working like i think, we will have to make a "cheers" together this summer.
