the two days I've had the geckos all have spend the eniter of both days in the hide boxes that I'm guessibng 85 % humdity. Is this too much I've saw one female in the dry hide but there is nothing in them so maybe they don't like them?

both of my Leo's spend most of their time in their humid hides too. I assure you that it is quite normal for them to do so.
Mine spent so much time in their humid hides that eventually I took out the dry hides because they weren't ever being used.... I have yet to see any of my geckos in a dry hide provided for them.. In the wild they'd be spending time in moist, cooler rock formations anyway during the day...
my leo, Phoenix rarely uses his dry hide, he likes the humid hide better for some reason. Beanie however, will only use her humid hide when she is about to shed and never any other time. its no problem really, just their personal preference. so far, the hatchlings enjoy their humid hide the best out of all the hides too.
