Eliza, my beardie gapes a lot. She is always on the hot side, rarely goes over to the cool side of the tank. When she gapes it is almost like she is gulping air and trying to swallow. Does anyone know what is wrong?

Sounds like a possible respiratory infection. Increased heat can sometimes solve this, but it is always best to seek a vet. Good luck!
