Something is wrong with Charlie!!!

clouddancer22 Jan 08, 2006 08:41 PM

I was photographing the underneath of Charlie, still trying to figure out if he is a she. At this point, I think he is definitely a she, I think. Anyway, I looked under Charlie a couple of weeks ago, and her pores were not so noticeable and she did not have the swelling and dark spot. Any ideas??? Our reptile vet is far away and not very useful. Thanks, Ursula

Oh, and I forgot to add the vitals - she is a nice green, active, slowing down on the eating, and passing less stool and not much urates this past week. I have been giving her daily baths to help remove a piece of old shed on her back, and she pooped in the tub! She is just over two years old, and her appetite has gone down, but still eating on her own. Thanks.

I have no idea what that could be, maybe injuries/scars, maybe nothing, or maybe an infection of some sort. I'd keep an eye on it for now.

Hahaha! Yep, you are right, injuries. Lol, she jumped into the glass from her perch. I heard the thud. I palpitated her whole midsection, and I think the swelling was on her hipbones, one more than the other. Wow, gave me a scare! Thanks for your reply.

What happened to Rick? He was so knowledgeable!!! Does anyone know? This site is not so much without him.
