I have a pair of females that are meltzer line het. for anery my male is said to have ben produced by Jack Dyer from wild caught parents (I have not confirmed this with Mr. Dyer) I produced a small litter last year with some nice aberant one's it would be nice if they prove to be genetic. heres a pic of the parents and then a couple of the kids

Steve those aer sweet, my animals are from Mr. Harding, I have some time to go before I will be breeding them (2years?)but I am wanting to hook up with as many folks as possible who have nice blood as well for future projects. Those babies are nice, too bad you couldnt post your "strange"one but maybe next time. What age did you attempt breeding trials at? and did you proceed as with Bci or Bcc, housing, cycling etc...

I have 2.2 breeder longis that are from John Meltzer. One of the females produces 25% anerys. The variability in longi babies, whether anery or not is amazing. The care is like bci and bcc, but they won't mature and breed as early as bci (ususally 4 yrs of age is necessary) Also, mine start to breed in the fall, rather than the spring.

My females were 5yrs the male 3yrs last year. I have a snake room so all my boa's are kept the same way 85 deg. high 80 low 50 to 70% humidity I start lowering the temps around the end of Dec. and bring them back by the end of Feb. so far everything I've tried to breed has at least tried (males courting) except for my BLEEP Surinames this year I have another male maybe that will get things going. I think the Kingsnake gods are going to allow me to post that pic this time

I have a meltzer 99 het for anery female form his oldest wild caught female (rosen might have had her for a will) to his first F1 anery from a different pair of wild caught and my male is 01 form doug at the boa basement that is rosen/lincoln bredd to a meade animal. I have heard the at one point rosen had a bounch of different wild caughts. I tend to breed them in the spring rather then the fall but i dont tihnk they care as much as some of the other boas and might be easy to breed then any of the others. no two babies are ever a like and you never know what the are going to look like. I have a anery and a het yearling that are super black at a year and two year olds that still have almost no black yet so you never know. but you got to love longis

the response, quite an array of beautiful animals there. My Hardings are split with the male being very clean, with nice gold color while the female is more typical of what Ive seen here. Both are great, I hope to expand on these as time and space allow.
