gravid boa

deadlyjokers Jan 09, 2006 03:35 AM

I believe my boa is gravid but, physically (besides the swollen area) how can you tell?? I mean she does look like she has eaten a football.. I know she was bred because i caught them locked up 3 times full penetration.. nov 17th was the last day i saw them locked..since my male has lost all interest in her..I'm just wondering when her due date may be and if there is a phsical way to tell if shes getting close..Thanks for any help you can give me..

The Boa Constrictor manual is very useful and should answer many of your questions. I've only been producing boas for 8 yrs. and I still read it.
