changing their water

snapjacks Jan 09, 2006 05:40 AM

Obviously toads need their water changed, and I want to change their water as frequently as needed.

I also don't want to stress them anymore than needed. Sometimes all 3 toads will be sitting in the water for more than 2 days!

Shoudl I ever shoo the toads out of their water so I can change it, or should I just keep waiting?

Shoo 'em. I bodily pick mine up out of the water. It takes some time, but they get used to it and seem to understand. It's more important to have clean water for them than anything else.
