LOCALITY QUESTION ABOUT RED HOGS?????

JustinMitcham Jan 09, 2006 09:42 AM

Over the years I have noticed various red hogs show up in collections and in the classifieds, but finding locality data on where these animals originate has been very difficult. Does anyone out there know where some of these come from. I have personally collected a few nice specimens in the Kermit Tx area, and seen some really nice specimens come from the interior of New Mexico, anyone else out there have any 1st hand or even second hand experience with these or other high red locals? I would love to have a couple locality specimens to work with and breed to the male below for better gentics. Any info would be appreciated.
Justin

Nope, this is a extremly high red albino, outbred from the normal yellow and ornage albino's you see today. Here's a couple more pics below and if you follow the link I place you can see some of the other hogs in my collection.
