Thanks. I'm excited with the potential of this project. I was really hopeing to get a couple of crosses this year, but it seems my males don't like girls!! LOL!! The Super REALLY wants to breed, but doesn't seem like he knows what's going on,i.e.,tail wrapping the females' head, etc. He's a little over 5 months and has plugs. I'm not giving up quite yet, but there's only a couple of weeks left here until I start my warm-up!!Keep your eyes open as there should be at least 1 cross this year, besides Supers!!

he's probably not a sable, but he's got some really black/dark markings on him... he's also got a weird belly...

Yep. I'm really curious to see what pastel sables will look like. I wouldn't be overly surprised if it's something totally unexpected (like the pewter or pastel YB).

I think the pattern is something that I think a lot of people are overlooking. Imagine if the spider cross came out with a spider pattern, but with all the "key holes" in it.

Thought your snake looks somewhat similar in pattern to one of our '04 poss het pieds, although she doesn't have that wicked looking granite pattern on her sides.

Hey Justin...didn't know you were into Ball Pythons. I try to keep it on the DL, myself.

JFYI, The snake he posted is the super sable. The sable (or het super sable) is visibly different than a normal, but not all that different looking. The homozygous form is really dark in person...apparently the first melanistic ball python that proved to be genetic.

Yeah, ball pythons are awesome. I still couldn't do without the carpets though. That supersable is dark. Any pictures of a sable? I wasn't sure if he was posting an establsihed morph or just a new project.
Thanks,
Justin
