I was wondering if anyone knows a good combonination of animals for a planted rainforest terrarium. I was hoping for inexpensive, common, and easy care animals.

Thanks in Advance,
Justin

many people are going to tell you not to keep different species together but i will tell you what has worked for me. keep in mind you need an extremely large enclosure, i would say at least 75 gallons. anyway, i have housed succesfully, green and brown anoles, asian longtail grass lizards, golden(bannana)geckos, house geckos, gold dust day geckos, green tree frogs, grey treefrogs, barking treefrogs, and american toads. when you do this it is very important that you keep a watchful eye on all of the animals and if anything seems like its becoming a problem you must modify it accordingly.

I agree that no one is gonna agree to it but i managed to keep green and brown anoles, a long tailed grass lizard, and a crested gecko in a 20h before. I eventualy got rid of the anoles cuz they would eat more and catch the crickets before the grass lizard. I then added a small skink i caught and they live there for sometime without problem.
I was going for a bigger setup but then that fell through so i left them in there but i do recomend atleast a 55gal depending on the species, size and temperments. So what ever you plan just see what is compatable by their surrondings. Im planning on doing a community tank with some armidilo lizards, so ill post that sooner or later.

Hope that helps some
