yes my baby ball escaped! i went home for the weekend (cause i rent since im in college) and when i came back the top was open. its not likely that she got out of the house, but im trying to unstick my UTH from the tank to set in the middle of the floor to lure her out of her hiding place. k i gotta go cry now, lol.

In my experience, you should look in the places where you would think not to.
I'm thinking under the bookshelf, behind the bookshelf, meanwhile she's in the booksheld curled up on a good book... lol

Anyway, i've found them 9 out of 10 times at night, when gettting up during sleep, or as soon as I wake up... since they are active at night!

Put a small mouse in a small creature keeper type cage in the middle of the room... chances are she'll come to it, at some point.

Well I doubt she ran away, probably just slithered LOL

You probably can't unstick the UTH if it is a stick on, not to mention then you run the risk of her sticking to it if she finds it.

How big is she? I had one girl get out but she was big enough that I heard her as soon as she started moving around, 2000g girl just isn't quiet when climbing over my dresser, knocking everything off. Otherwise look in warm, damp places, she will seek out heat. Also on feeding day you can try to place a live mouse into a container that she can get into but the mouse can't get out of. My sister has had snakes get out they always turn up in her mouse room and when my other one escaped she was in my bathroom behind the faucet.
