put it in a cage that has a basking light set at 115-120. the baby won't eat for a couple days (usually three days after they leave the shell).

try not to panic.

Hi
also mist him couple times a day .
no feed items bigger then the space between the eyes.
fist day they r tyred from hatching and then after cople days they begin to eat .
try one small crick freez him 20-30 sec til he just stop moving.
then dust it.
then drop front of him.
if he see the cricks start moving if he get heated up he wil eat it.
also check every days under rocks if no cricks hide so they wil eat youre beardie alive when its night .
good luck .

Thanks for your responses. He started moving around a little today but still spending a great deal of time sleeping and you very rarely see him breathing.. Im not used to having a creature this fragile around and im scared of doing something wrong. And not having had dragons, baby or otherwise, for very long before having eggs to care for and now a new baby im not real sure what is normal and what is not as most of my experience is with spiders. thanks guys and any continuing advice would be great

Is he still in the egg? If the yolk sac is still attached, he could be resting and absorbing it for now. Hatching is alot of work for little bearded dragons and they will spend alot of time sleeping. If he is completely out of the egg and you can't see any yolk sack, move him into a cage by himself with heat lamp, uvb bulb, baskign spot and a hide. He should start eating in a few more days.
