Placement?

nevermore Jan 09, 2006 11:02 PM

Right now I own an eastern indigo snake and tomorrow I'll be recieving a young Artentine B&W Tegu from Agama.

Can I house them together?

...just kidding

My actual question is, I keeping one reptile in my room and, for the sake of quarantine, I'll place the other, in another room in the house. In regards to that, do you think it would be better to have the Tegu in the other room (where there will be less traffic) so that he's more secluded when he first gets here? Or, would it be better to have him in my room, so that he gets accustomed to me by seeing me more often?

My indigo is well established, tame, and will be just as happy with either opption I'd wager.

I think in your room would be good, to get him used to you.

Thanks for the input.

Yeah, an indigo was always my dream snake. I just got back into reptiles a little over a year ago (I used to keep them as a kid) and decided on the snake I always wanted.

As for the tegu, I agree with everyone's input and have put it in my room.
