You guys remember Coconut & the "Green" Cal King ?...

Keith Hillson Jan 10, 2006 07:34 AM

LOL A guy named Coconut(Joel)purchased a bright green cal king (at a Flea Market I believe)and posted pics on here. Everyone but a few said the snake was bogus and he got ripped off, in fact it shed for him the 1st time and BAM it wasnt green anymore lol, shocker! Wouldnt beeen so bad for the guy but he really thought he had something special and wouldnt listen to reason. I was just kickin thru the archives and I saw that from 2000 and I was chuckling about it.

I wonder what happened to coconut and if he threw in the towel. Seemed like a nice kid.
Another memorable subject line was "I froze my friggin snake!" when some poor soul put his snakes in the attic to brumate.
Other than the familiar "yipes, mites", "snake is AWOL" I'm drawing a blank with other amusing subject lines....
BTW, this king forum is outstanding, some excellent dedicated contributors here....

I vaguely remember an A.W.O.L. post a while ago that said something like "This is the third time my snake has escaped.....". Really makes you wonder?(LOL!!!!)

I had a snake that got out three times. Finally had to put her under lock and key. She is named Hudini.

LOL The priceless moment was when he posted a pic of the green tinted shed and a very normal looking Cal King lol. Had to give the guy credit for posting that though especially when he kept saying we will all be sorry when he proves its real. Makes me wonder if he is still on here but under another name ???

His response does deserve credit, doesn't it. He presented a hypothesis (though perhaps with a bit too much faith) and when data disproved it, he "published" the data. We should all be so objective. AND so willing to entertain.
