problem with baby hermanns, anyone had this problem?

I've had my Hermanns for 2 months now (he's about 5 months old) and I got him out, put him on some carpet to feed, and noticed he started moving/twitching violently around like a bee was stinging him or something (just an analogy). It happened on and off while he was eating for about 5 or 10 minutes. He seemed to calm down but then I noticed when he tried to walk on a hard surface, he couldn't lift his back side up enough to get his carapace off the ground so he just wiggled his feet, slowly sliding his back side along. On a carpeted surface he can move better but only because his carapace slides better along the surface. Does anyone think this was a seizure of some sort? Should I contact a vet ASAP?

Everything else seems ok, eats fine, gets soaked every other day, pees, poops, has good heat/uvb during the day. Maybe something I'm feeding him could have caused it. He eats mostly clover/grass, mixed greens, primrose leaves, and some mazuri. I have a good reptile vet nearby. Should I wait a day and see if he walks better or go right away?

Thanks,

Fred

If he were mine I'd go ahead & make that appointment for a check up. Not picking up his backside to walk & the twitching sounds too weird.
