I have been trying to find my iguana a new happy home, and have found quite a few I like, but being as I'm in a remote area, it's too far for anyone who's replied to travel, and they ask about shipping instead.
Some are willing to pay shipping, but do not know how much it would be.
I tried doing some research, but I can't find anything. Because I live in a small town, there's not many places here I can turn to to ask.
I agree to shipping only if it's overnight delivery and he is in a heated transportation crate. It is extreimly cold here and I do not want him to freeze to death.
I looked through some messages here, and I think the highest price (for what it was, I forgot) was around $70.
Does anyone know what this shipping would cost? He is a large iguana, and probably needs a 4.5'length x 1'wide x 9"high crate (estimated minimum).
Currently, with the person I am thinking of, he would be shipped from ND to WI.
Or, if heated transportation crates are insanely high-priced, anyone have any tips to keep an iggy warm during travel time?
