Breeding questions

Krystal87 Jul 24, 2003 10:03 PM

I have two horned lizards and was thinking about breeding them. are commercial incubators better than using an aquarium with heater and plastic wrap? will they cover the eggs with sand or lay them on top? what is a pinkie pump and how does it work? last on was just something i've been wondering about. i had more but i forgot em!

I'd go with the commercial incubator to avoid temperature spikes. I've been the aquarium route before. A pinkie pump is a force feeding device usually associated with snakes. I don't know if a pureed pinkie would be a good meal for a horned lizard or not.
