Breeding Kingsnakes

metalpest Jan 10, 2006 03:49 PM

I'm going to be breeding my kings soon, along with many other colubrids. They have been brumating since Dec 1st and I have a few questions before I wake them up:

Do I feed them before I attempt to mate them?

How do I know when to put them together?

How many times should I mate them to ensure the female is gravid?

I picked up a couple of hovabator incubators. How effective are these? What temperature do I incubate at?

I am expecting to produce 60-100 babies this year, what is the best way to house them cheaply while saving space?

Also, if there is anything else I need to know, please inform me.

Thanks everyone!

Nick
