screen cage for Basilisks?

sadly my cham died, but that leaves a larger screen cage open, anyone use this for a Basilisk before? the 2 ive been fostering are not getting any intrest from adoptors so i think they will be living here forever and id love to move them to a large cage, i think its the 100 gal. size.

Well like water dragons, basilisks need a lot of room (more than 100 gallon if possible, but if that's all you can afford it's ok). However, nose rubbing on screen has the same affect as sand paper, and keeping humidity up in screen enclosures is near impossible.

I would personally say no. On the other hand, if they are currently in a glass enclosure of a smaller size, it might be worth the move. You would probably have to cover 3 sides of the screen enclosure to get anywhere near the humidity you need.

thanks for the input, i have had nose rubbing problems with iggys and dint even think of it, as for the humididty, i keep the entire room over 70% most of the time. so a screen cage would be fine, i think ill put them in and see what happens. im a rescue, but so many end up staying, its a shame how many herps end up getting given up. all i can do is try to give them the best i can!
