..do you find the bilineata spend a lot of time on the ground, when feeding?

Not really, my female can go down on the ground sometimes but not often,the male is always laying in the branches.

i just got 3 from a Fl. importer, dealer. i would love a chance to talk more about the best things needed to keep them. i'm sure they are a lot like most other arboreal,whether new or old world (pit) vipers. i just am well skilled with atheris chlorechis,and some of the thing i know, most would never think these snakes are so different,and no one ever told me this stuff.it took me 5 years to see them the way i do. if there is some good bilineta info you would care to give i'd be greatful. heres a pic of the great fun i have with my collection. thanks John
