Chondros are known for using Caudal Luring ie;tail wagging to bring create interest in a potential prey item.
caudal luring and it sounds like it's working. It's supposed to look like a worm. By doing this, your snake is hoping that a hungry bird or other small animal will come along and investigate. When it does, the snake has an easy meal. Cool huh?
There are a few other snakes that do this as well.
