QUESTIONS PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

what is the best substrate for leo's? astroturf, that calcium sand, or something elsse give me some ideas please im dieing!!!

and for heating i have a 33 gallon tank that sits on wood is it ok just to use a ceramic bulb and leave it on all the time as well as a low wattage night glo bulb so i can watch at night

or would it be better to use a UTH and just prop up my tank and if thats not hot enough(its pretty cold in my room) use a normal light for some extra heat??

please please help me lol. iv heard soooo many things and i dont really trust people at pet shops coz they might not own one so please help me!!!!

also papertowels seem to be the best sub.

i know paper towel works well but my parents got me a nice tank and a whole set up and stuff it was expensive so i want a nice tank so i want something that looks nice

this is at your own risk but you can use a loose sub as long as you change the diet to worms(meal,super,silk,whatever) that are in a bowl. if you have anything moving about in the tank on the sub. then there is a chance it will grab sub. insted of the prey. you can eliminate that by feeding it anything that will stay in a bowl.
ive done both papertowels and my choice of aspen crumble and have had no problems with any but i understand how paper towels ruin a tank. i only use papertowels in bins but thats where my geckos are.
