Just another shot has a bit better lighting and its a bit closer, note the white head and how the "black spots" are actually grey and ghost like.

Wow she sure is gorgeous. She kind of does look like she could be called hypo. She doesn't look like any of mine, and I've never seen one quite like her!
How much?
She’s not for sale, fortunately I have been sent pictures of a similar male, now some times pictures are deceiving but if he looks like the pictures i will have a perfect mate for her in no time.
Devon,
I have never seen one that light - love the bold green eyes too!!
Congrats!

Corucia are highly variable in color and markings. I have 2 that are very dark olive with some light green stripes, and then I also have 2 that are very light in color with dark spots. The markings of the skink in your picture are also another color variation I've seen quite a bit. It's possible that the color differences may have something to do with locality. I've also noticed that many of the older Corucia I see tend to have lighter colors. Do you know how old the one in the picture is?
Well I am glad to here there are more out there like her, any idea who might have them ?Or where i could find pictures. I am aware of the fact that they have lots of color variation, In fact just in the groups I am working with I have lots of color variation , blacks, browns, yellows, stripes, spots, banded and patternless, But I have been unable to find another skink like her not even a picture of one. I have a few that have lighter yellow heads, with paler coloring but nothing like her. As for age I have no idea, like most she’s a LTC, I have had her a few years, but he exact age is unknown.
I am sure the color variation has to do with local it would only make sense, I have also noticed a trend in color variation and humidity needs, some groups clearly need higher humidity to shed properly then other groups. the combination of color patterns matching groups of animals that need higher humidity seems to point to different locals.

Coburn's book has some pictures that look a bit like your animal. Most of the others I've seen that look like that are at the Philly Zoo. They have a bunch of them. In fact, they have some of the first animals that were brought over in the 70's. The first Corucia that I ever saw also was very light in coloration. She was a huge female that I saw in a pet shop in central Kansas in the early 90's. She was obviously WC, but she was gorgeous. I've been fascinated with the species ever since.
Thanks for the info. I also have become obsessed with this species, I am now on the hunt for blue and gray specimens, I have seen pictures of completely gray animal, completely blue animals, and gray animals with blue banding . I am trying to find a live specimen like this but having very little luck (so far) I am almost curious if the pictures I saw were not just animals in shed, as a few of mine turn gray and blue during shed to the point you wouldn’t know they were actually bright green.
MTS aren’t that abundant in the states let alone up here in Canada, It makes the hunt all that more challenging.

I don't have any with a head as light as that one but one of my females has a body similar in color but more of the yellow/lime green and less of the other light greens in yours.
