Most breeders will breed a female for a couple years , during their prime. Ussually you can get a good breeding seasons out of a female , or more. My oldest breeding female was 9 years old and still gave me multiple clutches with 100% hatch rate. And her babies were some of the most vigorus I have seen.

peace,
nate

Not sure on the average lifespan of bearded dragons but they can easily live 10-15 years with proper care.

Female breeders should be retired around 5-6 years of age. Though females will often produce clutches well past this, over breeding can be very stressful for the female.
