if i u se a UTH then what substrate could i use. im planing on feeding him just worms and maybe taking the back legs off the crickets so they wont get out of the bowl so would it be ok to use sand as a sub..? not to sre what to do iv had lots of ideas. and if there is anything u think a newbie at this should know please tell

I use ceramic tile as substrate it works very well with a UTH and holds heat and i would say no sand dont wanna take a chance of getting your gecko impacted.

even if i only feed them meal worms sand is still not a good idea..? and another question im getting 2 loes so should they each have a moist hide or can they share one if its big enough

i wouldnt risk using sand and as for the moist hide if you have a big enough tank id go for 2
