Hi
I was looking for input on that new no light bulb that is rated at 60 watts but ad saids can heat to 100 watt bulb . I was going to replace my ceramic 60 watt heat emitter and wanted input on it as this bulb looks interesting.

Hey,
Its pretty cool, not sure if it would be worth the investment to switch to it tho. If you want to switch because it wont be such a fire hazard then its worth it.
Are you happy with the heat it gives , from what I read in the ad its just heat no light at all ?
Thanks
well, It gets about as hot as a 100w ceramic heat emmiter. Its more expensive tho. If you want it because its less of a fire safty then go for it, if its just for heat then go for a ceramic heat emiter. Over all, it does work well, I have not used one for a long period so I have no idea what the life span is like.
Thanks going to order it. If at running it at 60 watts than it can get upto 100 watt heat than its worth it esp since it seems safer.
Though ofcourse I use a ceramic socket heat dome for safety but it sounds pretty good I saw it online for like $10 more than a ceramic heat emitter so seems worth it.
Thanks again for the info .
