Back from a conference...

Herptiles_net Jan 12, 2006 09:28 PM

I just got back from the North American Veterinary Conference in Orlando today. It was really exciting to listen to some great figures in herp health give presentation, like Drs. Hernandez-Divers, Wright, and of course, Mader. I also got a peek at Mader's new edition... I wish I could have afforded it!

Anywho, the point of my post is that I have the conference proceedings on CD. There are some really great transcripts of the herp lectures, and while most are pretty complex for the average keeper on this board, persons like Ian or Kelly might want to take a peek.

The files are in PDF format, so let me know if you want to see the ToC for the herp proceedings.

Christina

PS: I'm a very happy herper holding that gator, can you tell?

Super Awesome Christina! I wish I was able to attend! You bet I'd love to see those proceedings; I'm using some of my student loan to get that Mader (it's a text after all ) Dr. Hernandez is awesome, I attended his reptile medicine course on VIN in early '05. Never had the pleasure of meeting any of the other greats

ps, I used a doppler tonight on a corn snake for a cardiac stick, worked awesome, and recommend it for all cardiacs now!

Anyways, Imat work rather late, gotta run,

Cheers, Ian

I would most definitely like to see the proceedings and appreciate the offer. I have not had the opportunity to see Mader's text at this time, but have heard that it is quite good. Would have really liked to have been there. Thanks again,

Kelly
