Everglades Rat

Heyy everyone! I just got an Everglades Rat over the weekend for $20 from regal reptile. It is about 9 inches long, and it has quite an additude. I've delt with other yellow rats and black rats they were nasty as heck. when i got those two they were subadult. i figured if i raise one from a hatchling ill have a better tempered animal. any suggestions?

I have never had a feisty Rat Snake that Ive raised myself. They just need regular handling. I once babysat a pair of nasty Texas rats that i had tamed in less than 6 months. Without regular handling, many snakes are feisty.
