Mini Mealworms

bast Jan 13, 2006 07:36 AM

Hello all,

I have soem hatchling bearded dragons. I was thinking of ordering some of the mini melaworms that I've seen advertised in Reptiles Magazine. Are they just small mealworms or another species? Any benefits from them?

What are your thougths and/or experiences?

Thank you,

Brian

I have not used them but know others who have. They are another species and they stay smaller. They move more than regular mealworms. Other than that I don't know anything about them.

You know the last time I ordered mealies I got a box with a ton of the fuzzy tiny things that I thought were detritis bugs. The rest were mealies.
Previous to last time all the orders I got in of MINIs were just baby mealworms.(as I supposed they should be and they had always been) I do raise my own so I rarely buy any in, so it has been like 6 months ago that the order was NOT the oddball bugs.
